Jason Kolinoski is who we all want to be when we grow up.
Early in his career, at the age of 22, working in Lower Manhattans “Silicon Alley,” he co-founded a technology dot-com focused on content delivery, which was successfully sold nine months later in a private transaction. This Queens, New York native and ex-high school defensive linebacker, cut his corporate teeth by the age of 22, and learned firsthand how to successfully run a business during the dot.com era.
His depth of knowledge in the healthcare industry and his talent for crunching numbers are impressive. Noticed for his skills, Jason was recruited to serve as vice president of Northeast Operations by Learnout & Hauspie, a global leader in advanced speech and language solutions, to establish its Healthcare Medical Solutions Division.
After L&H, Jason was recruited by CBay Systems and Services Holdings, Inc., a portfolio of businesses that provided Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services to the U.S. healthcare industry, where he served as the chief operating officer up to their strategic acquisition of MedQuist. He stayed with CBay another year, then transitioned to MedQuist to work on integration with the companies. After several strategic acquisitions, M*Modal was formed.
In 2009, Jason was promoted to M*Modal’s senior vice president of Strategic Business Development/Sales Operations. Then in March 2013 Jason was tapped to serve as M*Modal’s Senior vice president of Transcription Solutions. After 16 years with the company, Jason is as motivated as ever to see M*Modal through to another successful year –and no one has any doubt he will do whatever it takes to make that happen.
